Play's well, just the disadvantage is that you have to install Java to have controls. Issues might have to do with making sure your external blu-ray player is compatible. Leowo blu-ray player (paid version) will convert blu-ray to a file and I have not personally had any issues with it. So many things it could do, but looked like a simple software on the surface.
